Perhaps not everyone who voted for Obama actually believed in his views about Global Warming; you would think that if we all voted for him we would also agree with his view on global warming... or was there something else to it?
That something else could be the economy. Before we took this class global warming only came into my mind occasionally. The economy and the war came into mind more than three times a day. When some of us voted for Obama it was for that 'change' he spoke so of eloquently.
I think politicians are taking advantage of the lack of information. They are making people believe that through the sell or purchase of carbon credits we will stop global warming; even I thought it was true. I have done some research about carbon credits as you can see in my blog, and I just realize that all about the carbon credits is no more than a strategy to get more money.
Yes I agree with ojotes06, however they need to get money to fund research to learn more of the cause and effects of climate change so that we will know how to respond to major climate fluctuations in the future.
